Bachelor of Business Administration | TU

BBA, which stands for Bachelor of Business Administration, is one of the most demanding fields and the first choice for most +2/ intermediate business graduates in Nepal. It is a four-year bachelor's program in business administration divided into 8 semesters with 120 credit hours. This program provides specializations in Banking and Finance, Industrial, Marketing, Travel and Tourism Management, and Management Information Systems. The specialization subjects are chosen by students in the seventh and eighth semesters.

Objectives of Bachelor of Business Administration

Admission Requirements in Bachelor of Business Administration

The candidates applying for admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration program at Tribhuvan University must follow the following procedures:

  1. They should have completed their +2 or equivalent level from any university or board recognized by Tribhuvan University.
  2. They should have secured at least a second division in their +2 or equivalent level.
  3. They should follow all the application procedures required for the entrance examination.

Admission Criteria:

To gain admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration program at Tribhuvan University, students must pass through various phases of tests:

Written Test:

Eligible candidates must appear in the CMAT entrance test (Central Management Aptitude Test) conducted by the Faculty of Management, Tribhuvan University. The test follows international testing standards and consists of four categories: Verbal Skills, Analyzing Quantitative Techniques, Reasoning with Logic, and General Awareness. The test comprises 100 objective questions, with 25 questions in each category. To pass the exam and qualify for an interview, students must score at least 40%.

Interview:

Students who score a minimum of 40% on the written test will be called for an interview. A merit list will be prepared, and a few will be selected for admission based on their performance in the interview.
