Objectives of BTech Food Technology

Admission Requirements in BTech Food Technology

The eligibility requirements for admission to Tribhuvan University and its constituent campuses, specifically for the BTech in Food Technology program, are as follows:

  • Completion of 12 years (10+2) of formal education with a minimum of second division. The applicant should have successfully completed their higher secondary education or an equivalent level of education recognized by Tribhuvan University.
  • Applicants who have completed a certificate-level program in food technology or laboratory technology from TU recognized institute are eligible to apply for BTech Food Technology admission.
  • All applicants must appear in the entrance examination conducted by the Institute of Science and Technology (IoST), Tribhuvan University. It is mandatory to take part in the entrance exam and obtain a passing score for every applicant.
