The Bachelor of Laws (LLB) program is specially designed for those who want to make a career in the legal profession. The program equips students with skills such as social appreciation, research, analytical and communication skills needed to meet the demand of any legal career. It puts a strong emphasis on the in-depth knowledge of the rule and its application. In addition to classroom learning, this discipline provides students with practical experiences by giving them the opportunity to work with real people with real problems.

LLB program offered by the Tribhuvan University provides students with education related to rules and regulations that is distinguished by its meticulous, profundity and conceptual sophistication. The three years long program gives a well-rounded understanding of the values, policies, principles and concepts of the by-laws in Nepal. Moreover, it helps to develop students' skills in thought & argument and critical analysis. The program covers subjects, such as Criminology, Human Right and International Law, Family Law, Law of Taxation, Banking Law and Legal Methods among others. The coursework comprises of lecture, question-answer, research, case study, seminar, discussion and workshop. Teaching period per subject is fifty minutes.

Objectives of Bachelor of Laws

Admission Requirements in Bachelor of Laws

Students with Plus Two or Intermediate level in any stream with a minimum of 2 GPA are eligible to pursue Bachelor of Laws (LLB) program.
