Master of Hospitality Management, or MHM, is a master degree offered by Tribhuvan University (TU) with the main purpose of transforming graduates into skilled and higher-ranking managers to function in diverse areas. MHM is a two-year program divided over four semesters. Students are required to study a total of 60 credit hours to complete this program. This program is designed to produce graduates with the skills and aptitudes to manage highly competitive and swiftly growing areas. This program is registered under the FOM at Tribhuvan University.
The curriculum of the Master of Hospitality Management TU program includes compulsory and core courses; focus area courses; elective courses; industrial attachment; and theses. The students have to go through the same course content until the third semester. But in the fourth semester, there are three elective subjects: rural tourism, event management, and property management. Students have to choose any one subject among them. Each subject is 3 credit hours, except the thesis, which is 6 credit hours.
