Uttarpani Technical School (UTS) was established in 1980 as a rural technical school under Technical Education Directorate of National Education Committee. It is located in Uttarpani, Dhankuta, Nepal. The school was established through joint co-operation between HMG/N and Overseas Development Agency (ODA). Initially, UTS started 7+3 Technical School Leaving Certification (TSLC) program. Further it was changed to 10+2 TSLC program in 1992. The first batch of the TSLC program was enrolled way back in 1984. UTS is affiliated to Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).

- Provides 15 months TSLC training in Livestock and Agriculture on a private basis
- Training to the technical and administrative staff through Training Institute of Technical Instructor (TITI) in order to upgrade their knowledge and skills
- Produces Middle and Lower-level manpower in Nepal
