BTTM Colleges in Nepal, List of Bachelor in Travel and Tourism Management Colleges in Kathmandu

BTTM Colleges

Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM) course primarily focuses on producing individuals capable enough to pursue a career in the tourism industry, which is constantly growing. So, the relevance of this program is also heightening. 

Currently, there are 3 Nepalese universities that provide BTTM courses in Nepal. Along with this, there are some foreign university affiliated colleges in the country that actively teach this program.

There are about 15 BTTM colleges in Nepal. 5 of them are affiliated to Tribhuvan University (TU), 2 to Madhya Paschim University (MU), 2 to Lumbini Buddhist University (LBU), and the remaining 6 to the foreign universities.

Eligibility Criteria

To study in the BTTM offering colleges, the students must pass the entrance examination. Also, they have to meet the following eligibility criteria;

  • Should complete their intermediate or any equivalent level with at least a second division or 1.8 CGPA.
  • Should compulsorily have English as a full paper, of 200 marks, in their 10+2 or equivalent.

Fee Structure

The fee structure of the BTTM colleges entirely depends upon many of the external factors; from the faculty members to facilities that college provides. It also depends upon the placements and internships you have to do as part of the syllabus. 

If we put that aside and solely talk about the fee structures, the estimated price range is NPR 1,50,000 to 3,00,000. But, we advise students to visit the college personally to find out the actual costs.

Scholarships

Many colleges do provide scholarships based on the merit list and semester-wise marks received by the students. However, students should understand that the colleges provides this provision as per their policies.
