Bachelor of Business Administration
TU AffiliatedBachelor of Business Administration provides helps to acquire practical skills in the fields of business and fianance. It offers specialization from Marketing Management, Banking, and Finance, Travel and Tourism Management, Industrial Management, Management Information System, etc. The students should take CMAT exam that consists of Verbal skills, Analyzing quantitative techniques, Reasoning with logic, and testing general awareness as its four categories.Students of this program will gain a solid knowledge and understanding of business processes, logical thinking, responsive Managers and capable of working independently and in teams.
Bachelor of Information Management
TU AffiliatedBachelor of Information Management (BIM) is a four year course that integrates information and communication technology with Management. The learning of this program combines class lectures,multimedia presentations, practical class, group discussion, case studies, project work, seminars, term papers and internship. It is divided into eight semesters in total. It has a total of 41 subjects and requires a student to fulfill 126 credit hours of studies for completion of BIM from KCMIT College.
Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)
TU AffiliatedKCMIT College offer BCA affiliated to TU. It is four years program of 126 credithours semesterwise program. This program prepares Graduates who can work as Software developers and a wide range of knowledge in the technical area. They possess thorough understanding of Computer Applications. The curriculum of BCA covers theortical courses, project works and a choice of electives based on students area of interest. Besides KCMiT also offers non credit courses that are equally useful such as Red Hat, CCNA, Java, Ethical Hacking, Oracle and R programming.
Kantipur College of Management and Information Technology is the first college to introduce and implement BIM program in Nepal. With a team of management educationists and IT professionals having years of experience in the corresponding fields, KCMIT was established in August of 2000 with specific aims to meet the needs and requirements of the rapid advancement in the field of IT and management in the 21st century. Kantipur College soon expanded its BBA program in 2004.
Affiliated with the TU, KCMIT in collaboration with the private education sectors has been facilitating the students with the latest and the advanced technical knowledge and education in Nepal. The teaching faculty consists of highly experienced and co-operative IT experts, educators, and professors and aims to produce skilled professionals and socially responsible individuals competent in the field of management and technology.

KCMIT Library
There is a well-furnished and up-to-date library with a large number of text books, course books, reference books, journals as well as variety of magazines and books related to business and computer and national dailies.
Computer Lab
It has well-equipped computer labs with unlimited internet access and power backup for their convenience.
KCMIT Carnival
Annually, it holds a carnival, which is one such program that every students look forward to, where everybody comes and works together in coordination to make it a grand success.
Sports
It has various outdoor and indoor games that include football, basketball, table tennis, badminton etc and also organizes sports week on an annual basis.
Field Visit
They are taken to different banks, institutes and enterprises as a part of their practical and project works by KCMIT.
Why KCMIT
Regarded as the pioneer college of BIM program, it started this program in 2000 and, in 2004, it started offering BBA course as well. Since it was offering various facilities and quality education to its students, it steadily caught up a pace and is now providing education. It has set its objective to produce socially responsible Management and IT Professionals in the global market. It has successfully produced several batches who are performing very well in different national and international market. They are groomed by highly qualified and experienced teachers. Well-equipped Computer Laboratories, Library, spacious ground for sports, educational tours, events and seminars are also attractive features. They are inspected according to the frequent tests and examinations. Weak students are provided extra classes to improve their academic performance.

Principal Message
Mrs. Lalita Chand, the principal of KCMIT, says that KCMIT is the pioneer college of BIM program which was started in 2000 and later in 2004, It started offering BBA course. It has successfully produced professional manpower in the competitive market of the 21st Century. She stated that after more than a decade-long run of KCMIT has many success stories to tell but the credit goes to the endless effort of the management faculty, administrative staffs, domestic staffs and themselves. Producing good human beings who can uplift the society is the primary objective besides giving professional course knowledge to produce management and business expertise.
