About the Program

Bachelor of Information Management (BIM) at the Kantipur College of Management and Information Technology (KCMIT) is a 4-year professional course that is affiliated with the Tribhuvan University (TU). The KCMIT is a pioneer in introducing this course in Nepal. This course is a unique blend of management and information technology, and its aim is to produce skilled manpower capable of handling both managment and technology tasks.

At the KCMIT, the BIM students get a chance to take various non-credit courses, which will further enhance their skills and knowledge. They are required to complete their internship program and projects, which will make them able to face the real-world issues. There are well-equipped computer labs and library to make students learn in a favorable environment.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for the course, the candidates must have completed at least 12 years of formal schooling. The eligible candidates should go through the systematic admission procedure.

• Application form: The first step is to get an application form from the college. The candidates are first required to fill up an application form, and submit all the copies of relevant academic certificates to the college.
• Entrance exam: The second step is to appear on an entrance exam. The candidates must score the minimum required marks in the entrance exam that will be conducted by the Tribhuvan University. The test will test the general awareness, verbal skills, quantitative skills, and more.

After the procedure, the college will evaluate and select the best candidates from the rest.
