Government induct maths in Grade 11 and 12 for Bio-group
The government has reformed the school curricula and brought back Mathematics in the course subjects of Bio Group students of Grade 11 and 12. The stakeholders criticized the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) approved by the government on June 1 after mathematics was excluded from the subjects of Bio Group students of Grade 11 and 12. The second draft of the NCF proposed compulsory Math and Science for all groups of Grade 11 and 12 students. It also included Social Studies as a compulsory subject. The new curricula will be implemented in the schools from April 15, 2019.
