Leopard chaos in Tribhuvan International Airport
The only international airport, Tribhuvan Airpot was forced to shut down after leopard entered the runway. The TIA administration closed the airport immediately after the beast was spotted. The wild cat was seen at 7 am.
Forest officers and securities immediately reached the spot and have blocked the possible hideout. Both domestic and international flights were affected for a while.
However, it is not the first time that any animal has been spotted on the runway. Similar incident occurred last year. A Bhutan Airlines flight had to abort its landing after a stray goat was seen roaming on the runway.
