Manmohan Technical University is the first technical University of Nepal. It is located at Budhiganga Rural Municipality Province Number 1 of Nepal. This University is founded by the Government of Nepal and commemorated to the Late Poltician of Nepal Mr. Manmohan Adhikari.

School of Engineering

Under The School of Engineering, it has an institution called Manmohan Memorial Polytechnic a constituent of Manmohan Technical University. It is an autonomous institution that provides sound skills and practical knowledge to meet fast challenges and the changes in the World. The academic programs offered are:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Diploma in Electronics Engineering
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Diploma in Civil Engineering
Diploma in Architecture Engineering
Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Short term training and Certification courses in Electrician, Plumbing, Automobile mechanic, Filter including boiler operator, Machine operator, Electronic Mechanic, Refrigerator and Air Conditioning mechanic, Carpenter, Welder cum fabricator, Mechanical Filter Industrial, Hospital Equipment maintenance, Computer Operator.

School of Medical and Allied Health Sciences

Under the School of Medical and Allied Health Sciences, there is an institution called Man Mohan Memorial Institute of Health Science was established in 2007. It provides training of health professionals, links with national and international academic and research institutions and Conduct clinical, praticipatory and Community based research. Programs offered are:

Bachelor of Science Nursing
Bachelor of Science Medical Laboratory technology
PCL in General Medicine
PCL in Medical Laboratory technician

It is soon coming with another School of Applied Science and technology program in the near future.

Research Center:

Manmohan Technical University also operates Research Center under the Management and directives of state government. The first research project was in production of hydrogen gas to generate chemical fertilizers that were dearth earlier. This was initiated by the attempt of three Engineers.
