Nepal Army Institute of health provides scholarship of Rs 62.4 million
Nepal Army Institute of Health Sciences provided the scholarship of Rs 62.4 million in a year alone. Director at the Fund, Brigadier General Raghu Bhandari, shared the information that students belonged to various streams like medical study, nursing and medical poly technique. There are altogether 8,338 students in various streams in the army institutes run by the Fund. Among these, 2,887 are the students from the non-military families. Nepal Army has also provided free education to Sonish Awal of Bhaktapur Muldhoka, who was rescued live after 22 hours of the Gorkha earthquake. He is provided with NRS 50,000 each year for his education.
