Professor Dr. Dharmakanta Baskota appointed new Vice Chancellor of Tribhuvan University

Prof.Dr.Dharma Kanta Baskota was appointed as the 19th Vice Chancellor of Tribhuvan University by P.M. and Chancellor of T.U. Mr. K.P.Sharma Oli. Dr.Baskota is the Professor Doctor of the ENT Department. His academic achievements are MD Hons,DLO,FCPS(Pak). According to the 2049 Law of Tribhuvan University the tenure of Vice Chancellor post is for four years. He has taken this prestigious position from 4 November 2019 onwards.Rector Prof. Dr.Sudha Tripathi gave a hearty welcome to the newly appointed V.C. and also pointed out on the need of  breaking down the usual norm in the administrative area of T.U. by changes that are effective with sound supervision to the administration of Tribhuvan University could be found after the appointment of Prof.Dr.Dharma Kanta Baskota as the new Vice Chancellor of Tribhuvan University. Dean Dilli Ram Upreti and T.U. Teachers Association head Prof. Dr. Basanta Dhakal also was present in the occassion to congratulate the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Tribhuvan University.
