Job specifications

Communicate geological findings by writing research papers and participating in conference
Measuring characteristics of earth and its magnetic fields using seismographs, gravimeters, torsion balance and Magnetometers
Identify deposits of construction materials and assess characteristics and suitability for road filling, concrete flooring etc
Perform survey data, well logs, boreholes and aerial photos
Investigating composition and history of the earth’s crust and examining, measurement and classifications of soil, minerals, rocks and fossils
Locate and estimate probable natural gas, oil, mineral ore, water resources, petroleum.
Identify risk for natural disasters mud slides, earthquake, flood and volcanic eruptions
Inspect engineering problems and using equipment’s to test
Advise on construction projects of builders and Government
