Job Details on Librarian

Librarian is a person who provides access to information and also gives social or technical programming  to the users which is known as social literacy. They look after the books and other resource materials and allows the borrower to use it for a certain time frame. Besides books they also maintain the electronic resources, magazines, newspapers, audios, videos, manuscripts, bibliographies databases so that the user can find out exactly what they intend to learn. The roles of librarian are classified as an archivist who work on archive materials, Electronic resource librarians, media specialist, outreach librarian who provide resources to the underrepresented groups, public service librarians at service desk with borrowing books and informative resources and reference or the research librarians, technical service librarians who order library materials and database subscriptions.
