A Program Manager is a one who takes a high level view and guides project Managers to ensure that they are working effectively towards the fulfillment of program objectives or goals. Program Managers can coordinate multiple projects and have to facilitate communication across the cross functional teams. Since a Program Manager has to look over a broad spectrum they can burn out if they don’t delegate or plan. They must ensure the welfare of the team and help manage risks and issues by taking corrective approaches. Communication and monitoring are two wheels that help the Program Manager sail ahead.
