About the Program

Bachelor of Architecture is a five course of Pulchowk Campus. Architecture is the combination of art and Science which is mainly used in designing the shapes and outlines of manmade construction prevailed in our environment. It needs lot of creativity and realistic understanding of the structures and equipments for envisioning the concept, plans and ideas needed for drawing building samples. Not only this, there are works like project viability, town planning, interior designing, etc that Pulchowk graduate of architecture can work on. So, architecture is the career for those who want the art in science. However, getting admission in Pulchowk campus for Bachelor of Architecture is an uphill task comparing the number of interested candidates and tough entrance exam that students should go through. Students should need patience, creativity, dedication and passion for passing the entrance exam of Pulchowk campus and studying five long years of Architecture then after. 

Eligibility

Admission for B. Architecture in Pulchowk:

• +2 or A- level or Diploma in engineering with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
• Major subjects as Physics, chemistry and 200 marks mathematics in intermediate level.

Regular Category (Scholarship): 24 students

Full category: 24 students

Total: 48 students

Fee structure for B. Architecture in Pulchowk campus:

For regular students: Rs. 8, 283.5 for each semester.

For full paying: Rs. 75, 657.5 for each semester

For foreigners: Rs. 2, 23, 430 for each semester

Entrance exam:

• Full marks: 140 marks, English: 22 marks, Chemistry: 20 marks, Mathematics: 40 marks, Physics: 40 marks, Engineering Aptitude: 18 marks
• Two hour objective multiple choice questions taken on computer with negative marking of 10% for each wrong answer.
