About the Program

Bachelor of Computer Application is a four years program of Purbanchal University. It helps to produce computer software developers and opens door to higher studies such as MCA, MIT, Mtech etc. Graduates of this field have knowledge of Computer Applications in software organizations with sound Managerial knowledge as well. They can work in large organizations as Software Analyst, Software Quality Assurance Engineer, network administrator, Database Administrator, IT Officer, IT Manager etc.


Eligibility

Those candidates who have passed Plus 2 or Equivalent securing fourty five percent marks are eligible to study BCA program. Students with 45 percent marks in Plus2 Science, Plus2 Management, Plus2 Humanities, Plus2 Education or CTEVT/Diploma or PCL  are also eligible to apply.
