About the Program

The Bachelor of Information Management (BIM) course at the Shankar Dev Campus is affiliated with the Tribhuvan University (TU). It is a 4-year course that deals with both management and information technology. It's always an advantage to have an information technology, even when you're not applying for an IT job. This course opens up doors of opportunities for the students to pursue their career in both management and IT sector.

This course covers a wide range of subjects associated with management, IT, and others, such as psychology, accounting, finance, programming, and more. All the students are required to do an internship as the part of their course to get an exposure of the real world business environment. The students will have strong theoretical knowledge combined with practical skills after the completion of this course.

Eligibility

Eligibility and admission procedure

To be eligible to apply for the BIM course at the SDC, a candidate must have completed 12 years of formal schooling with the minimum of the second division. Here is the admission procedure.

• Application form: The candidates are required to fill up an application form at first. They must fill all the required information mentioned in an application form. During the submission of an application form, they should also submit all the copies of necessary academic certificates.
• CMAT Test: The eligible candidates after the submission of a form are required to give a CMAT test, which is conducted by the Faculty of Management. It includes questions related to verbal abilities, logical abilities, quantitative abilities, and general awareness. It’s a compulsion to score at least 40% in this test.
• Interview: The shortlisted students will be called by the faculty members after carefully analyzing all the forms and the score of CMAT test.

The candidates will be carefully selected by the faculty members after evaluating all the results.
