Sripatum University was founded by Dr Sook Pookayaporn who is also Chairman of University Council, and was a licensee of establishment of this University.  As of now the University is enabled with Information technology and used in administrations, lectures, e-learning development project. The University has the policy of producing qualified graduates in line with Thailand Qualification Framework, enhancing academic research, instilling ethical values and morality of students and improving University Management system by focusing on Human resource Development.
