About the Program

Bachelor of Information Management (BIM) at the College of Applied Business (CAB) is a 4-year course, consisting of the total of 126 hours that is affiliated with the Tribhuvan University (TU). This course is a unique blend of management and information technology. This course has been designed after looking at the need of manpower in the world with the knowledge of both management and the information technology.

All the students are required to take part in different programs conducted by the college, and they also need to join an internship program to get exposure to the real-world working environment. The graduates can apply for both management and IT positions in the different organization. The graduates also have the option to pursue their studies and apply for the master degree.


Eligibility

Eligibility and admission procedure

In order to apply for the course, the candidates must have completed 12 years of formal schooling with 10 plus 2 or equivalent scoring at least 60%. The candidates must have passed their 10 plus 2 (if management) taking Business Mathematics. Here is the admission procedure for the candidates.

  • Application form: The first process is to get an admission form from the college. It takes Rs. 500 for the application form and processing. During the time of submission, the students must submit all the copies of required documents to the college.
  • Entrance test: The students are required to appear in the entrance test. There is CMAT test taken by the university too. The test paper will include questions associated with the verbal skills, general awareness, logical and quantitative skills.
  • Interview: The final step is the interview process. You are required to convince the faculty member in this phase of the procedure.
