About the Program

Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc.CSIT) is an advanced course that enhances the overall knowledge of computer science and information technology. This course is affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU), and it consists of a total of 126 credit hours. This program provides students with the knowledge of various aspects of information technology and computer science, such as programming, design, security, and more.

The lectures will be given by experienced professors and professionals. In addition to the lectures, the students will also have the tasks to participate in many practical works and project works. This will give them ideas of solving real-world problems with the help of information technology.

Eligibility

Admission process in B.Sc.CSIT at Prime College

In order to be eligible for admission, the candidates must have completed 12 years of formal schooling in science in first division or equivalent. The eligible candidates need to follow the admission procedure set by the college.

• Application form: The students need to fill up an application form, and along with an application form, they should submit the copies of all academic certificates to the college.
• Entrance exam: The written exam will be conducted by the Institute of Science, Tribhuvan University. Each and every student must secure at least 35% to be eligible to do BSc.CSIT course. You can check out previous test samples to get a hint of the types of questions you are likely to face in the test.
• Interview: After the successful completion of all the above procedures, the college will filter the candidates, and they will call them for an interview with the faculty members. It is a compulsion to be present in an interview.

The college will select the most competent candidates out of the rest after all the procedure is successfully held.
