About the Program

Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Global Business, at SAIM is an intense 24-month professional business course affiliated with Pokhara University. This is an age of globalization, and many international business organizations, such as BIMSTECK, SAFTA, WTO, and others are there in the world today. MBA Global Business equips the students with the knowledge of the overall aspects of management, culture, and more to make them capable to facing the modern business challenges.

This course aims to produce well capable entrepreneurs and leaders that can capitalize on the investment opportunities and make the contribution in the business world. The students are required to carry out various projects and presentations along with a Graduate Research Project at the end of the program. 


Eligibility

The candidates should have completed at least 15 years of formal schooling with at least 45% or 2.0 CGPA out of 4 to be eligible for the MBA program. This won’t give you a direct admission, but it will allow you to apply for the admission. Here is a detail admission procedure set by the college.

  • Application form: The candidates are required to fill up an application form at first. They should fill up all the required information and they are also required to submit all the necessary copies of academic certificates along with the admission form.
  • Written exam: The faculty members process the admission form, and they set the date for a written exam. Each and every candidate must appear in an admission test. The test is based upon GMAT/GRE format. It will test out the verbal, quantitative and reasoning abilities of the students.
  • English test: The candidates will be shortlisted based upon their score in the admission test. The shortlisted candidates will be provided a topic to write an essay for testing out their English writing skills. They will be given 30 minutes to complete the essay.
  • Group discussion and personal interview: Group discussion and personal interview follow up after an English test. The candidates will take part in a group discussion, and then they will be called for an interview.

The faculty members carefully analyze the performance of all the candidates, and they will be chosen after their overall evaluation.
