About the Program

Bachelor of Arts (BA) at the St. Xavier's College is affiliated with the Tribhuvan University (TU). It is a 3-year course with a total of 14 papers in 3 years. The total no. of seats is 90 seats, and this course emphasizes on social work and the English. The students are not only involved in theoretical lectures, but they are also required to involve in practical works. The students are required to take part in the field study every Sunday.

The social work carries a total of 40 marks while the rest is carried by the theoretical aspects of the course. The students are eligible to apply for various positions in the NGOs, INGOs, and other similar works after the completion of this course. They also have the option to go for a Master degree after successfully completing this course.

The candidates who wish to apply for this course must have completed at least 12 years of formal schooling with good academic records. Here is the admission procedure for getting an admission in this course.

• Application form: The first step is to fill up an application form. The candidate should fill up all the information correctly in the form, and they are required to submit the copies of their relevant academic documents to the college.
• Entrance test: The candidates who have filled up an application form will be provided date and time for an entrance test. These candidates need to appear and score good marks to be considered for an admission.

There is a total of 90 seats in the college, and the candidates will be selected by the faculty members after careful evaluation of all the candidates.
