About the Program

The St. Xavier's College is offering the Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Technology (B.SC.CSIT) course that is affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU) to the students who wants to pursue their career in an information technology (IT) sector. This course includes all the subjects that will help to make students well capable of meeting the needs of IT sector. There are various subjects related to computer science, natural science, mathematics, and so on to equip the students with all the necessary information.

The graduates can easily get any IT job or they can pursue the Master degree. This course consists of 126 credit hours in the completion of this course.

Eligibility

Eligibility and admission procedure

The candidates who wish to apply for this course must have completed at least 12 years of formal schooling (10 plus 2 in science or equivalent) with a minimum of the second division. The candidates who are eligible to apply must go through the systematic admission procedure set by the college.

• Application form: The first step of getting an admission is to fill up an application form. The candidates must fill all the information correctly in the application form. During the time of submission, the candidates are required to submit all the relevant copies of academic certificates to the college.
• Entrance test: The candidates must appear in the entrance test conducted by the TU and the college. They must perform well in the entrance test to be considered for the further process.
• Interview: The final process of getting an admission is an interview process. The college provides the date and time of an interview. The candidates must satisfy the faculty members to be considered for an admission.
