And with the motive of providing his visitors with maximum fun and facilities, owner and managing director is working day and night.
The first visit to Kathmandu Fun Valley in 2013 allured Bushan Guragain and his family to the extent that the year later they ended up being taking over the company. Owner and managing director of KFV, Dr. Bhushan Guragain actively indulged himself in the family business in 2015.
Located in Palase, Bhaktapur, KFV aspires to make regular visitors. For that, it has worked on upliftment of management, sanitation, and safety.
“Since I am a health professional, my knowledge of health and sanitation has been proven to be a big asset for KFV. We purify the groundwater on a regular basis, maintain its pH value, monitor the bacterial content and use a chemical in a balanced way.”
The water kingdom has lots to offer: wave pool, water rides, pendulum slides, kid amusement park and much more. Ride giant slides, feel the sea waves and enjoy the greenery, all at the same time and at a very affordable price. The entry fee is only Rs. 650 and recently discount system for students was introduced. From now on, students will get 20% discount.

“Opening of new theme parks affects your business more or less. But the healthy competition is always welcomed. It gives us the opportunity to improve. However, if you don’t compromise on quality, there is no reason to fear the competition.”
“Though it’s a seasonal business, we are thinking about opening it throughout the year. In winter you cannot enjoy water-based attractions. Thus, we are planning to organize festive events and concerts. We are also working on implementing the online-ticketing system.”
