Futsal

Futsal is a game of football played by two teams each consisting of five people. This 5-a side variant of football is usually played indoors originated in South America. Futsal is a fun and easy to do sport. It helps us to lose weight. Brazilian soccer stars grew up playing at futsall before graduating to football tournament at age of 12 or 13. Having spent countless hours on futsal courts Brazilians are admired for their brilliant technique, movement and passing. In Nepal, futsal can help to fill the void of football game. Futsal facilities have cured problems for players like lack of playing areas, shortage of tournaments that plagues Nepali football. On a given day over 1000 Nepalese are found playing at futsal which by extrapolation results in 365,000 Nepalese in a year. At futsal there are majority of futsal players who would not be active in any form of football. The impact made by abundant futsal facility in Nepal have also prompted a major international youth football development program to make inquiries about expanding their business into Nepal. One can find kids kicking football for their enjoyment. They are highly inspired by the game. Teenagers are also developing techniques to strike which would not be feasible on decrepit fields. The agile and innovative mind of futsal entrepreneurs have promoted the game of football and opening new arenas without any sorts of political or beauracratic interventions. Dozens more futsal facilities are on the verge of getting built across the country. This is due to interest in the game along with strong occupancy, profitability and football lovers and madness to win the game. In Nepal, playing futsal at different price has been made possible by many futsal arranged in Nepal. Futsal has built co-operation and integrated the concept of house game. Employees, students, football fanatics have had the opportunity to strike a match in the 40*20 meters artificial turf carpets that are popping across the country. Within next six months you can have 20 Futsal fields in Kathmandu and Pokhara combined. The size of futsal is 35-50 meters and the goal post is 5 feet high with 6 feet in width. Prices vary according to location, time (NPR800-NPR2500), facilities and infrastructure. Discount is done if you become a member and reserve arena for fixed and regular time period.

There are many mental and health benefits by playing at futsal: On a test carried out on 47 men it turned out that playing football was smartest move. Those who played saw their blood pressure fall by an average of twice as much than those who decided to run. Besides, cholesterol level fell in soccer groups more than the running groups. Bone density increased twice as much playing soccer as in running. Futsal exercise increase heart rate. Increased heart rate associated with increase flow of blood and oxygen in the body. This means your energy level will flow significantly. If you are saturated with office work and business makes you stressed then you ought to play at futsal. It brings cohesiveness and unity and will re-raise your spirits. You burn so many calories and fat due to which you can stay fit and healthy. The research of Professor Peter Krustrup's evidenced that men and women playing soccer experienced an overall high level of flow during the experiment which meant they reached an optimal stage which happens when you are fully immersed in a challenging task. You are fully focused, engaged, motivated and happy in whatever activity you are doing. One study showed that men who played football reported far less worries than those who went jogging. Soccer enhanced motivation more in women who took this game than the men who were stuck in running. Small side games (5-a-side) including futsal led to more high intensity movements than full 11-a-side game. It is due to the simple fact that 5-a side games are more intense, keeps you more engaged, gives you more action, meant for pure enjoyment and provide with value for money. Spend lot less time standing still and get nearly 4.5 times number of touches on the ball which is of course the key reason for playing.

Spanish words for hall (Sala) and football (Futbol) makes the word Futsal. It is played to touchlines and all players are free to enter the penalty area and play the ball over head height. Futsal support young player development in other ways. The speed and fluidity of the game supports players in understanding and improving their skill in transition phase i.e. counterattacking. Teams are either defending a counter attack or launching one after breaking down their opponents and this skill is a vital component for young players to understand and apply. The emphasis in futsal is very much on skill and technique over physicality. Other dimensions of game like passing, controls, fakes, feints are exercised while playing at futsal. This enables to resist pressure and encourages players into quick decision making. Ball retention, tactical awareness are the major assets that game in Futsal helps to promote. Forming a winter Futsal leagues for the clubs or schools during winter in a warm and friendly environment is another option for futsal entrepreneurs for promoting futsal games. Futsal is addressed by FIFA as the fastest growing indoor sport in the world. Even the stores supplying football accessories such as futsal boots, futsal gloves, protection gears, footballs, jersey are benefiting from the sales of their business. Football craze is deeply rooted in the Nepalese. This game is enjoyed while playing and also while watching the players strike goals for their team. It is internationally very popular and we are thrilled while watching World Cup Tournament praying our favorite Country's team win the World Cup.
